Posted by: corvato on 2009-03-10, 05:07:53 A demijohn is a carboy, which is generally a glass bottle, that people use to ferment primarily wine, but also can ferment beer or other alcoholic beverages a fermentor is a more general term, which includes demijohns/ carboys, but also include fermenting buckets, pails, and the larger more industrial equipment microbreweries and even commercial breweries. |
