In my honors bio, we have a "fermentation party " (basically an excuse to eat and party) But i need to bring in a tasty food made by fermentation. Ideas? Please don't say pickles :)

Miso is fermentated soy beans. Fish sauce is fermentated fish. Also I believe tofu may be fermentated?

If you don't know now, then you really were not paying attention in class. Wine is fermented.

On the first day of Food Tech, they gave us Sauerkraut and some other things to try. Sauerkraut is a German food, its fermented cabbage. The German sailors used to take it on sea vouages, and that's how the Germans got known as "krauts ". They took it on vouages because it's a source of vitamin c that keeps well, so prevents skurvy. You could also bring just beer or something easy like that. Have fun :)
