Question: After fermentation in homebrew cider making why when adding sugur did a "volcano eruption" occur in the bottle (Posted by: John P9 on 2007-10-20 06:50:20)

Posted by: demented warrior on 2007-10-23, 19:09:35 You added a fermentable sugar. try lactose, or a sugar subsitute. the yeast is still active when you bottle it. so adding sugar will make the yeast start converting the sugar |
