Dog food ingredients: What is Freeze Dried Enterococcus Faecium Fermentation Product?
I just bought Innova dry dog food to make a positive change to my dog's diet he was eating Iams and the like before...yuck . I understand what all of the ingredients are in Innova, except four or five that say " freeze dried....fermentation product" For example, one is " freeze dried enterococcus faecium fermentation product" My knowledge of biochemisty and latin stink So does anyone know what those ingredients are? Are they enzymes? I just need to know if they're safe p.s. those ingredients are not listed on the Innova website.Thanks for the great answer marduck And I have no idea how this question got in the wrong category.
